  1. I would say alberta...lots of lumber companies there.


  2. Thunder Bay, Ontario because it is close to the US. You are able to export by truck, ship and rail - it's close proximity to the States makes it an ideal port for exporting. Forestry is also Northern Ontario's number One industry. Thunder bay has has several mills for paper, plywood, poles, etc.

    Because of the depressed market there right now it would be the ideal place as they are seriously looking for new options.
