Where is the best place to find a Elementary teaching job? and a good place to live?preferably somewhere south

I am looking into this really early, but I will graduate in about 2-3 years with a bachelors in Elementary Education. I will be a 21 year old male and I love to work with kids and teach. I also am from Florida and am looking for something with a southern feel, if it's not in Florida. A good city to live in and raise a family.

I would recommend the Upstate of South Carolina. It is beautiful. You are close to the mountains and a few hours from the coast. I have taught in the schools for 20 years and have loved every year. It is a wonderful place to raise a family.

How do you feel about Texas?  I work in the Killeen School District. (Home of the military base Fort Hood) Because of so many transfers and the tremendous size of the school district, they are constantly looking for teachers, and they continue growing.  There are 30 elemenatry buildings, 12 middle schools and 4 high schools.

It's a nice area that continues to grow and develop family oriented activities in the community.
