Does anyone have a good recommendation(s) for the best place to look for general market predictions....such as "the market is expected to go slightly up or down, etc." I love researching stocks, puts, shorting, calls, etc. and want to test some theories out, but would love to have a near future ballpark prediction that can help to guide me.....Any suggestions?

  1. Investors' business daily,  It comes out 6 days a week

  3. Investor's Business Daily / Investors.com

  4. If such a place existed there would be a lot more millionaires.  I am a CFP and NOBODY can predict the market.  By the time you read about something or see it on tv it is to late and that stock/fund... has, for the most part already peaked.  If you do this then you will be buying high and selling low what I call investing with emotion.  That is why for every person that thinks the market is going to do something there is another "expert" that says otherwise.

If you want to study the market the best way to do it is through Morningstar it is a respected website but they do not offer predictions.

If you want to make money the best way to do it is with long term investments and make sure you are diversified and have proper asset allocation according to your risk.  Index funds are great for this b/c they are low cost and try to mimic the different indexes.

I would seek the advice of a good advisor until you are comfortable with this.  I am sorry but if you are looking for a website for predictions you are better off going to a Gypsy.

Good luck and hope this helps.
