Where is the best place to fish in Sacramento, CA ??? without a boat?

Try the American River...............Where Sunrise Blvd crosses the American there is a raft rental on the right (East ) side .there is also Lake Natomas just past Hazle avenue or Folsom just above there. When the Salmon are running in the spring and fall the fishing is fast and crazy right at the Hazle Ave bridge ....or go down to Gothe Park or Sailors Bar......they are all good. The Sacramonto river itself has good trout ......Catfish..........Perch............... name it !............Heck!..... There is fishing all Around you ........now all you have to do if figure out what they are biteing on  !   HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!
