I've gotten glasses at a lot of places. A local smaller office is more likely to give you a better deal, when they  have specials but as far as the larger ones go I prefer Cambridge eye.

Lens Crafters carries some really nice and affordable frames.  They also have the really fun designer ones, which I personally love!  They're pretty much everywhere and you can get your glasses in an hour! :o)
