Where is the best place to go for a quiet foreign holiday from UK?

We used to love going to Kefalonia, but the prices have gone sky high, both getting there and whilst away. The other thing is that it has become too over-developed for us. It is still not bad when compared to places like Kavos, Sidari, Laganas etc. But we prefer unspoilt places. I know there are plenty of untouched villages on the Greek islands, but they are generally inland.

I would be interested to hear peoples suggestions, and if you know any hidden gems out of the Euro zone, even better!

a lovely place to go well there a quite a few places my personal favorite place is Greece and the place in Greece to go is Zakynthos and stay in Tsivili  (spelling not exact but is along those lines)    it is beautiful

In my opinion i will try malta which is an island in the middle of the mediteranean,  There loads of places where to go it depends on your charcters. If you want more information do not hesitat to contact me on [e-mail].

Tonga its still cheap and isolated so definately quiet.

Croatia . opatija is a real dream! (used to be the main watering place of the Austrian Empire and later it was Italy, so great Austrian cakes, great Italian coffee culture in all the coffee bars, and surrounding by unspoiled country. Very very relaying and quiet!

You could go at Black Sea in Bulgaria, in a seaside resort named Kiten. It is a true paradise, believe me.

So if you decide not to go to Bulgaria and you go somewhere else I wish you to have a good time!
