There is a great resturant and cellar/ deli on the bend near the old West End School where Learning Network Qld is now. I can't think of the name of it at the moment but it is on the left as you are driving out of town, It used to be a S****y old pub and it has been converted in recent years. i will answer agin if i can think if it.. go for a drive and you will see where I mean. It is just before the lights where you can turn off to go to the airport ( is that Charters towers road?)
