Where is the best place to go hill-walking in or near Uxbridge?

  1. you're a bit short of serious hills around Uxbridge but the Chilterns have a lot of public footpaths which are interesting to explore

    I've done part of the Chiltern Way

    and it was very pleasant rolling countryside, quite a lot of it through woodland

    up near Ivinghoe Beacon is a lovely area, along the edge of the Chilterns, with some spectacular views in places especially around Dunstable Downs (and see the white lion in the hillside below Whipsnade Zoo)
