If you are single, it doesn't matter if you are a male or female, it is much better to be in Cancun's Hotel Zone. This is the area where all the famous Cancun nightlife is located, along with hundreds of fantastic restaurants, shops, tours and attractions. The area where most of the famous clubs are located is known as the Party Center, and there is nowhere else like it in the Riviera Maya, which is mostly quiet at night. Do yourself a favor, pick up a good travel guide with lots of info and get familiar with Cancun. Remember, get a book that is about Cancun, and not about the Yucatan or Cozumel, or you'll have info you'll never use.
