I am trying to find a really good mountain biking trail in Dallas, tx or really close to it. I would prefer something not really hard, but something challenging. I would also prefer that the place let you rent bikes. Anyone know of a good one?

  1. Look at the links below for your answer. It took me almost 3 seconds to find this on Google, so I can understand why you didn't do it yourself.

  2. I'm up in Oklahoma City, but I had the chance to ride Copper Canyon (or Copper-something) not far from Dallas.  It was on BLM land, I believe.   I'm sure there are other trails nearby, probably better ones, too.

I don't have the addy handy, but look up the TMBRA (Texas Mountain Bike Racing Assoc.) website.  They have great info as well as a forum that you could post this question on....someone will clue you in and you may even find some new riding buds.

Further away from you, the Bar-H ranch (just west of I-35 near the Oklahoma border) is a great place with lots to offer...be sure to check it out sometime!   Palo Duro is a wonderful ride, too (when it cools off again), but that's a long drive for you.

    Good luck, have fun!   :o)
