Hi,

I am considering taking the GAMSAT (Graduate Australian Med School Admissions Test) in March 2009, but I haven't really studied any chemistry. I have studied Biology and some Physics at University in my Computer Science degree, but 40% of the science component of the GAMSAT is Chemistry, both Organic and Physical.

At the moment I have a highschool text book (Conquering Chemistry, Roland Smith) which I am reading as a start. It is an OK book, but I was wondering if there are any better ways to do it.

Does anyone know of any sites that will help me? Ideally I'd like to complete up to 1st year college chemistry on my own.

Cheers,

Mikey

  1. I suggest Ebay.com  or Amazon.com and look for used college text books.  Students are always selling their used text books on line and it's a good way for the students to recoup some of the money they paid for those expensive used texts and help pay those student loan bills back. Good luck and happy learning.

Sign a college text book out of the library.  Can't get cheaper than that.
