  1. Perth

Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia, and the fourth-largest city in Australia, with a population of 1,554,769 (2007 estimate).[1] One of its LGAs, the City of Perth, is currently the fastest growing area in Australia in percentage terms (10% per year). [2]

Perth was founded on 11 June 1829 by Captain James Stirling as the political centre of the free settler Swan River Colony. It has continued to serve as the seat of Government for Western Australia to the present day.

The metropolitan area is located in the south west of the continent between the Indian Ocean and a low coastal escarpment known as the Darling Range. The central business district and suburbs of Perth are situated on the Swan River.

  2. Darwin in the Northern Territory because there's heaps of work, it's fairly big and the population is young, it's warm all year round, the people are friendly!  Alice Springs in the Northern Territory is good too because the people are laid back compared to the big cities, although Alice Springs is a lot smaller so there's not as much to do as in Darwin.

  3. I think it depends what your life situation is (married, single, kids etc) and what type of person you are really!

I'm an Adelaide girl and I love it - we are a city without being too overcrowded or crazily busy. We have the Adelaide hills, beautiful beaches, Barossa Valley and so much more all within an hour or so of the CBD, and it's a great place to raise a family! Love it love it love it lol.

But if I HAD to move somewhere else in Australia it would be Brisbane. It has a great vibe and similar drawcards to Adelaide, but is a bit bigger.

  4. PERTH!!

It is the most beautiful and cleanest city, has the most beautiful beaches, very laid back lifestyle, the people are very friendly and not s****..

Plus as we have such a huge state so there are plenty of gorgeous places to pop away for the weekend or longer if you like!!

Ive just got back from living in London for 9 months and never knew how good I had it!!!

  5. South Australia.

Great climate and good beaches, attractions and activities. Cheap cost of living.

  6. MELBOURNE, without a doubt. I'ts a very cosmopolitan. Great for families and singles, with lots to do. Shopping is fantastic and we have the best restaurants. I have travelled all over Australia (and overseas) and I find Melbournians the frendliest.

  7. It's not Perth.

Calling Perth boring is a huge understatement.  There is nothing to do in Perth except to try to stay alive on the roads.

Perth Drivers are the worst in the world.

    Don't come to Perth.
