  1. Why Surrey?

    If you're looking at South West or West of London there's also Hampshire and Berkshire (which has fast train services to London).

    So take a look at http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/SWTrain... for places that are within  a reasonable distance from London.

    It's quiet, picturesque and has good transport links - Train, M25...

    Also is on border of Middlesex, so is great for shopping, nights out nearby etc;...

    Local fabulous golf course, swan sanctuary and a couple of decent pubs.
