  1. massachusetts!

  2. Oklahoma.  It's relatively cheap to live here, and you get more bang for your buck than in other states in the region. After OK, I would say Oregon or Washington are really good places to live--if you can stand the dreary weather!  LOL

  3. Go where the weather suits you.  Big cities have more jobs, people, entertainment, action, and small towns are more peaceful.

  4. i live in virginia and we get alot of bad stuff here in hampton and newport news lived here for 22 years thank god i am moving to alaska its much quiter no bad stuff. But why dont you move to alaska there is barley people there the population is like 280,000 people. In Va there is like lets oh boy i lost count that shows there is alot in VA. Choose alaska

  5. VIRGINIA!

  6. Massachusetts all the wayy

  7. new jersey

  8. What are your criteria?  Each person is going to have their own favorite depending on their personal criteria, and depending in very large measure where they grew up and what's familiar to them.  There are even people hear voting for Massachusetts, which has some of the highest tax rates in the country, very high cost of living, miserable winters, and a jobs-wasteland for half the state!

So what is important to you?  Cost of living?  Good jobs?  Mountains, desert, beach, woodsy, rural, urban, suburban, the best schools for your kids, or....???

Frankly, I'd rather have my own private island in a semi-tropical climate!

  9. Look for a book called "Places Rated" at the library or bookstore.  Not sure whether they have any info in an online site or not.

  10. Really, it's a matter of opinion, if you want to live somewhere really busy, check out places like New York City, Las Vegas, Chicago, etc.

If you want to live in a peaceful place, maybe check out cities in Wisconsin/Minnesota. It's usually quiet (unless you choose the bigger cities), and there aren't as many huge storms you would see in the coasts.

I personally would choose the upper mid-west, but that's me.
