Where is the best place to live in genoa italy?

My family and I lived in Nervi years ago.  Nervi is essentially a suburb of Genoa, about 10 minutes on the local train.  It is beautiful and has a beautiful walkway that meanders along the sea.  I visit Nervi every year when  I return to Italy.

I am not sure how much there is to do there at night, but it is one of the prettiest places I have seen.

Carignano, Castelletto, Nervi and Albaro, but they're expensive! La Foce is nice and quite cheap!

I don't know what the best is but I would advise you to avoid the historic centre which is very nice but It's sadly becoming a ghetto. It's vey dangerous.
