Where is the best place to marry; Canada or America?

I am a Canadian citizen and my fiancee is an American citizen. We have oppty's in either country as we are both professionals without degrees.

My questions is will it benefit us to marry in 1 country vs. the other?

It is irrelevant. I am an American married to a Canadian.  We got married in Canada.  We have live in both countries.  No one in immigration ever cared where we were married.  Only thing that matters to them is that the marriage is legal and bona fide.

It depends where you intend to live.  Always check with immigration before you marry.  Sometimes they have certain rules and things can be easier if you apply for permission before hand and then do things by their rules.
