Back of the roof, couple inches ahead of the lift gate. Poke the wire into the side molding, door sill molding all the way to the front.

try to put a small piece of foam or cloth under that magnet so it dont scratch the car and it could leave an outlined fade and start to rust in that spot the magnet is strong,,,and move the antenna when U wash the car  to help prevent the above,,,
