I'm a brit and wanna move to America. What places do you recommend? Thanks.

That depends entirely on what kind of person you are, and what your means are.  Some people prefer the city life, some people prefer quieter types of places.  You may or may not want to live in conservative, Bible belt areas.  You may want to pick a place with a reasonable cost of living, etc.

America is fat, unhealthy, crime ridden, violent, oversized, a poor healthcare system, poor education system, racist, ignorant, s****., and infact a waste of space on the globe... there is no best place to live in a rubbish dump... that's the flat out truth....

It depends on what you are looking for.  Do you want to live in a large city or do you want country living?  What type of climate?  Altitude?  Attitude (living in Boston is 180 degrees from living in say San Francisco)?  The list goes on and on.  The best advice for someone who knows little about our country would be to visit you local library with a few basics in (your open) mind and go from there.  I wouldn't start with the Internet because you'll be immediately swamped with information of which most will be confusing at best.  But once you've narrowed the list of desirable attributes go to the Internet and do your research.  You can even write (or email) to the Chambers of Commerce of the desirable cities on your list with a request for information.  And last, if you have the money, come over and visit some of those possibilities.  And then make your decision.  Bring money.

There ARE NO best places to move to in AmeriKa... I moved to Antigua because I can't stand it in the U.S. even though I own property there.
