Where is the best place to park at Comerica Park?

I am going for my first time with my 7 year old son. I don't know where to park. A friend suggested parking at MGM Grand and walking since it is free to park there. Is that a good idea?

well if they let you i would try to park in the outfield but if not you might be stuck in the parking garage.

To be honest it doesnt matter where you sit in any stadium because its the enjoyment of the game and who you enjoy it with that matters the most .
