  1. the best place is probally in the bathroom by the toilet.

  2. well i dont know much about this stuff but my mom is a babysitter and she is the one training the kids and she puts the hair in the bathroom by the toilet or sing. she puts it in the bathroom so when they are trained they get used to the bathroom. and you don't want to confuse them lol. i remember when i was little my mom always had to run the sink water or flush the toilet so that way it would make me go! lol hope this helped.

    good luck :)

  3. in the bathroom next to the regular toilet, that way your child can see what he/she has to get ready for. also so you can show him/her how its done.

    :)

  4. In the bathroom, and let them know they need to use the big toilet.    That way thay always know where they have to go when they have to go.

  5. In the bathroom next to the toilet

  6. The bathroom...

Why would you put anywhere but the bathroom?

  7. above your mouth?

    sorry, I'm a bit of a perv...

  8. I had my daughters potty chair in the living room. I had to put her on it every fifteen minutes . That was the only way she would learn. She had no problems going in the bathroom when it was time to move it. Put it when you think it should go. It is your child and your choice. Everyone has their own way of potty training. Try some things and see what works best.

  9. in the bathroom. just think, when he/she gets ready to not need the potty training potty, he/she'll go to the kitchen and wonder what to do cuz her potty's not there! besides, you have to empty so the bathroom would be the most convenient!

  10. In the bathroom  because t will set the stage for using the big boy/girl toilet when they're older. plus it will give them a sense of accomplishment to use it in the same room as everyone else and encourage them to always do so

  11. bathroom....i feel if you put it in other rooms they are gonna get the idea it is ok to use the potty anywhere.  And ewww on the potty in the kitchen.

  12. bathroom of course.

  13. In the bathroom.. So they will know that thats where you go..

  14. anywhere thats convienent because the toddler cannot control when to "do his thing". Preferably in the bathroom so he/she gets used to knowing that is where people go poopy and peey.  Good luck on potty training:]

  15. In the bathroom next to the real toilet.  Then when your child goes, you can dump it in the real toilet and let your child flush the commode.  It makes them feel like a big boy or girl when you do that.

  16. outside or in the bathroom so he/she gets used to going there.

  17. i would say next to the big potty or in a comfortable area.. maybe start there and move it to the bathroom

  18. You can try the bathroom, since that is where you will want them to go eventually.  I know that my sister in law put the potty chair where my niece went to potty in her diaper.  Throughout time it made its way to the bathroom.  Keep lots of books nearby and take your time.  Good luck!

  19. I think in the bathroom. After all this is where he/she will go from now on........I hope

  20. You put it in the bathroom, relatively close to the toilet.

  21. Please keep the toilet in the bathroom.  Do you pee in the kitchen?  Nope.  Do you pee while watching the television?  Doubtful.  If you want your child to eventually pee in the big toilet, you're best off starting them in there.  The bathroom is for pottying, not the living room or kitchen.

  22. Bathroom. Then they understand where to go when they have to go. Also, you can sit on the toilet (lid closed or whatever) while you are waiting for them to do their business, and they will associate that later, too. Plus a bathroom floor is usually easier to clean than other floors in the house, in case they have an accident while trying to get the diaper/clothing off.

  23. In the bathroom next to the toilet so they can get confedince of going to the potty and going to the toilet.

  24. The back yard.

  25. By the toilet. When I potty trained my daughter I would take her diaper off in the morning and I would sit on the toilet while she sat on the potty to show her what needs to be done there. It's just like training a cat to use the litter. you are not going to put the litter box in the living room are you? NO so put the potty in the bathroom. once they get the jist of it then you can move the potty around I guess. But it should be in the bathroom. Worked for me.

  26. With my kids I put the potty chair in all different places, so I could see where they felt most comfortable.  Ironically, neither one used them very often, and wanted to go in the big potty instead..

  27. i have had relatives that have placed them in the bathroom next to the "Big people" potty. I have also heard to put it in the childs favorite place. like if he/she likes to watch aLOT of tv then put it in the room with the tv

  28. i would say you should put it in the kitchen...maybe next to a garbage can?

    Happy?

  29. i asked my mom shes potty trained 3 kids and she said bathroom and your childs bedroom are the best places...

  30. I would have to say in the bathroom. Its only so that when they get the hang of that then you can let them use the other potty. And they wont get confused on where to go next time.
