Where is the best place to raise a family?

im looking for the best place to raise a family. needs to be rural or suburban no city life, needs to be affordable and needs to be in a warm weather area. would love to stay close to home state of indiana but not a major priority. wife loves to shop so city close by isnt bad but need area for my son and dogs to play. Where is the best place that fits these requests?

i don't know anywhere in the united states. but the best place is lake toba Indonesia. with its cheap prices of 60 cents a kilo for gas, and shopping in south Indonesia is awesome, shirts for 2.50 and so on.. wide open land, the lake right there.....go check it out on yahoo images
