I have two days left of my Brisbane trip to plan (this cant be changed) and I want to see the great barrier reef, I don't have time or money to fly to Cairns or anywhere, but I do have a car and I have heard Bundaberg is nice, but is there any where else I can go to see the barrier reef but isn't too far from Brisbane?

I really want to see the great barrier reef and I know I won't get the full experience because of limited time and money but I am hoping to find a place that can provide the experience but isn't too far from Brisbane

  1. If you want to see the great barrier reef, you will have to go up north to Cairns. Sorry to have to break that news to ya.

But if you want to have a short road trip, head up to the sunshine coast to underwater world, or down to the gold cost to sea world. I'm sure they have some of the fish  there that you would see at he reef!

  2. You won't have enough money or time to get up to the reef.

Just hang on the Gold Coast.  There is plenty to see and do, great beaches, shops and there is lots of good looking people there too!

  3. The barrier reef is up near Cairns, there is not really anywhere close to Brisbane to get the experience and you'll be disappointed. Why don't you go to the Gold Coast instead.
