Where is the best place to sell a guitar?

I recently came across a very rare guitar of my great grandfathers. I was looking to sell it but when you Google it, you find these websites saying "send us your guitar and we will write out a check." Yeah, right, okay. Anyways, I was thinking eBay but than again, I dont know. Thanks.

You can just sell it outside your house if you want to.
