I have a Longines watch I have been trying to sell on Ebay with no luck. I assume it is because I haven't sold anything on EBay before and don't have any seller feedback. Any ideas on what I can do?

  1. If you pay 12,000 for the watch, you will only get around 4000-5000 no more at a pawn brokers.. (i work in the city for 2 years). solid gold Rolex are buying for 8000-9000

for a watch that price.. you never sell it on eBay because there are to many fakes going around with invoice(fake).. like a gold Cartier worth 50,000 for only 7,000..

what i will do is ask friends  if it possible who is in the market for a watch that price. ( tell then you are buying a better one, always works :-)

if not then the auctions house will is OK because you can set a price for it and wish for the best...

other then that trading post.. but it is hard to sell something at that price rang for a longines..

  2. I am assuming this is all legit? So why don't you go to a reputable jeweller in Melbourne? And, no, I wouldn't say go to  ebay!! Also look in the for sale/wanted to buy/antiques section of your local papers. Good luck!

  3. You could go to a antique store, pawn shop or cash coverters.  There are certain newspapers that advertise for stuff for sale like the quokka but the quokka is only in western australia. You could also sell it to a collecter which would be more than willing to pay the full price.
