I am going to watch the british grand prix on sunday for the third time at silverstone, with a walkabout pass (not the grandstand one). I have previously sat at the vale straight (i didnt like it much as we were very far back) and the exit of maggots (which was fantastically close, but the cars flashed past). I was wondering if anyone has ever sat at the exit of becketts and the start of chapel straight - what did you think of it? I might move there this year if it provides a good view.

  1. The "Jeff Gordon's g*y" esses.

  2. well i would say you should sit on your own bottom.. else u may be in trouble!! lol

  3. Becket's is a good place to sit, also you could go for near the end of Hanger straight. There are amenities by both. the trick to getting a good view is to get there early. Be at the gates at least by 6 am. you can take some camping chairs and have a snooze before the race starts. take your ear plugs though because all those helicopters make a h**l of a noise.

  4. D best place 2 sit is...hmm ferrari f2008s cockpit or beside msc in their pitwalls!
