I'm going to six flags very soon, and I love the butterfly feeling you get on roller coasters. I was wondering where the best place to sit on a roller coaster so you can get as many butterflies as possible! Front, back, or middle? thanks!

  1. on the tracks

  2. front

    ma fav part :)

  3. Depends on the roller coaster

  4. The front is better but always crowded. I would take the middle.

It is still fun! Have fun ;o)

  5. I love the "hang time" you get in the front (going over a hill and pausing a little while the rest of the train catches up and you are looking straight down the hill)  but I also like the speed of the back and in the back you usually get the "up off your seat hang time" more... so its a toss up... go on each one twice once in the front and once in the back and see which is best....  don't do the middle the middle on most coasters sucks

  6. front seats get the best pictures :P

  7. For the butterfly feeling, which is known as airtime in the coaster world, sit in the very back seat. Lots of people seem the think that the back seat is going the fastest-all the cars are going the same speed because they are all attached, but they aren't all going at the same speed on the same part of the track, which causes diffent sensations in different seats. While the front may be dangling over and just beginning to go down the hill, the back gets yanked over the top, where you feel butterflies in your stomach. The middle can cause lots of butterflies and airtime too. The front will cause you to not feel that much butterflies, but float above your seat when going over a hill. The reason for the butterfly feeling is because your experiencing near weightlessness when going over a hill or down a drop, which causes your stomach to float-that then causes the flight or flight mechanism to turn on, and that gives you the tingling feeling in your stomach. Many people who don't know much about roller coasters will assume that the front seat is the scariest and that the scaredy cats sit in the back, not true! Usually the back is the most intense and the front seat is pretty bland.

  8. front. this is because you have nothing in front of you but track and air no people so you feel more likely to fall foward and the air is stronger to it makes it even better

when you sit in the back you have people in front of you which ruins the ride!

  9. omg well if ur in for a huge thrill and want to go speedy hecka fast then sit in the back and on the side!! 'cause it always will go faster than the front on the down-the-hill parts :-P

  10. in the chair

  11. Well...I love it too...and I always sit in the back...b/c when going down a hill the front end always has to wait for the back end to get over the top before it can go...so if you sit in the back...as soon as your at the top your gonna be going instead of having to wait for the rest of the train to get there as well.

  12. I always sit in the front because when you get to the top of the hill all you can see is the tracks! It is amazing!  :]

  13. front

  14. It depends on the coaster. If it twists up into the air, definitely the back. If there's hills, the front for sure.

  15. The front is the best when your getting ready to go over the hill part because all you see is the track ahead of you. Although, i think if you sit in the back you feel like your going faster.

But overall, i think the front is the best part.

  16. the back cause you get all the momentum of the coaster there
