Where is the best place to snorkel in Mexico (west coast)?

My husband and I are going on a cruise to acapulco, ixtapa and manzanillo. Out of these 3 locations, which has the best snorkeling? We have snorkeled in Cancun, Belize, Grand Cayman and Puerto Vallarta, but never in the above areas that we will be visiting this spring. Any advice?

Not much to offer on the west coast......sorry.......can do some local stuff but not anything like Belize and Cayman.....sorry.

Of the 3 locations you mentioned:  Manzanillo would be the best.  Ixtapa is also acceptable, but clearly a level below Manzanillo.  Try the area near Las Hadas.

Acapulco...not even close.  Even the swimming areas are murky.  Enjoy the night life there.

Still, they wouldn't compare favorably to the Carib.
