  2. I went to Gstadd in switzerland last march. i wouldn't reccomend Switzerland because it's very expensive for Americans and there was a ton of skiiers. If your not on budget and don't mind being one the only snowboarders, then Gstadd is very scenic and has great terrain.

  4. The best resorts for snowboarding are usually in Austria. When I say "best" I'm referring to the quality-price proportion.  You can get really good accommodation, transport between the place where you are accommodated to the slopes, transport between different locations and usually very good service in all matters at very low prices.

    They also have a lot of snow parks and usually a lot of snow. The best thing is that they don't exclude snowboarders as in other countries. I truly recommend Austria as a snowboard destination.

    Even though they have snow all the time, the best period to go there is November - March.

    morzine good i winter cause its huge area covers over to swister land and all round the valley

    norway, ive never been there but its expensive, cheaper to go usa/canada
