i think u should stay at a fine hotel and obviously near the hospital in case of emergency. i had been there for treatment so i suggest u the best..

there are several lodges near by the TATA memorial hospital they will be good, otherwise if possible  one can stay somewhere in  mumbai and hop to the hospital everyday as hospital is very near to the lower parel local train station
