you have to choose  a job and know your budget .

I visited Cairo and Hurghada in June and had an amazing time.  

In Cairo, I stayed at the Sheraton, which was fantastic.  Spend a little more money for the Club Floor (and ask for the Nefertiti Tower, which was recently renovated) - it's totally worth it.  My room overlooked the Nile, and was fabulous.

In Hurghada, I stayed at the Mariott, which wasn't as fancy as the Cairo Sheraton, but offered tons of activities.  

South Sinai Travel is an excellent company that went out of it's way to make our visit fantastic!

Lots of 5 stars hotels in downtown ... most of them overlooking the river Nile

If you are thinking of something cheaper i have 3 apartments here and i do booking through the internet
