Where is the best place to stay in pigeon forge/gatlinburg?

i am looking for a great place to stay in pigeon forge/gatlinburg. we have been there several times and have already stayed at several places. i am pretty picky about where i stay. also, i am looking at cabins and nice hotels. or if someone knows another great location to go please let me know ( i am in georgia and will be traveling with two small kids). thanks

if you haven't seen Wilderness at the Smokies ads on tv in your area, it looks great.  We are planning a Sept vacation there.  They have a waterpark for hotel guests only.

How about someplace different? Try the Asheville area. Still in/near the mountains...loads of things to do, not as touristy as Gatlinburg. The Log Cabin Motor Court, just north of Asheville is great. A thoroughly restored (and modernized) 1930's motor court with very affordable rates. Have fun!

Pigeon Forge is so much fun, expecially Dollywood.  I've only been there once and we stayed at the Willow Brooke Lodge right on Parkway street which was really nice.
