  1. I think some place without distraction would be the best; so outside of the home, it would probably be a library or classroom, or even a park, some place that stimulates you to think but isnt over stimulating. In the home, I have always forced myself to do work in a room like a kitchen since there is no tv or anything but you can study anywhere. If you choose to study in your room, turn off all your appliances, cell phone, aim, tv, stereo, ipod, etc. Have a plan/time table to get things done. Figure out how long it will take you to do an assignment/study for a test and then stick to your plan, reward yourslef if you accomplish your goals. For example, you can watch that tv show u wanted to cuz you got your studying done early. Does group study help you? If so, ask your friends if you can have a study group a few days before the test. do not leave anything to the last minute, once the project or test has been assigned, start doing it, you dont have to complete it but work your way through it. Some other things that might help you are notecards and writing things out; just try to memorize by repeating your notes over and over. Take thorough notes and if are not good at note taking ask a friend if you can see theirs. Also, Haste really does make waste, so just cuz u finished early dont think you are good, re-read your answers and make sure you really understand something before you decide you are done writing/studying. if you are having a really hard time understanding something, dont be afraid to tell your teacher, they really will help you! Hope this helps. Good luck
