  4. Really depends on where you are travelling from.

It is nice to travel to the north in the summer because there is less humidity and the temperatures can be more enjoyable.

Try the Rockie Mountains in Canada, or the East Coast in the United States.

  10. if you willing to rough it A LITTLE viet nam is wonderfull, very cheap, if thats the way you want to go. but they also have very luxurious and expensive resorts and hotels.. googel "nha trang" you'll deffinately want to spend time there. also on one of their site is a "panarama" link that will show you a number of other destinations.  the vietnamese people are just the best... i can go on & on..if you want more ,track me down on any one of my open questions ive been there a dozen times.

  12. I visited Vietnam late last year, and had the time of my life. The country is incredibly beautiful and the people are incredibly friendly.

It may seem ironic, but Vietnam is one of the safest places for Americans to visit. You won't find taliban insurgents trying to blow you up. More than half of the Vietnamese were born after the war, and are now pushing to establish good relations with America. Long story short, The Vietnamese really want more Americans to visit their country, which is not necessarily the case with other countries in the world.

Travel through the country is incredibly cheap too. The cost of living is about 1/8th that in America, and your dollars will go a long way there. A very good seafood dinner for four would rarely cost more than $10. A decent hotel room could cost less than $10. Beer costs less than $1. A driver and a car for the day can cost as little as $30.

There is so much to see in Vietnam. The North, South and Central areas will have plenty of things for you to see. I would especially tell you to look into visits through:

    Hanoi

    Hue

    Saigon

    Da Nang

    Hai Phoung

    Ha Long Bay

    Have fun!

    MD

  13. Vietnam is lovely, but this year I am heading to Sri Lanka
