Where is the best place to try and find someone from the Island of Reunion?

I'm planning on taking a trip next month and thought I might go to Reunion Island. We had an exchange student from their when I was a teenager and I'd like to track her down but I'm not sure where to start. I don't speak French.

Any ideas???

Ain't easy but try to place an add in a local newspaper there with as much info's that you can remember.

If you know her name try the telephone directory.

In the online phone directory (link above), type in the name in "Nom" and Reunion in "Département"
