I have a bias for GG's Cafe and Bistro. :)  My husband and I also love the Greek place just above GG's, called Aegean Cafe.  In both cases, however, our preference for Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food is revealed.

From what I recall from a few years ago, there was also a neat Belgian Bistro on the other side of the town that turns into a fun dance club after dining hours.  We may have had something to eat there once, and I definitely remember dancing there.  A fun place overall, but I don't know if it's still open.

I love Laguna Beach, you have to try BJ's Pizza on the PCH (right across from the lifegaurd tower and beach) the White House it really good too as well as Zinc's for sandwiches.

If you want someplace in Newport try the Rusty Pelican they have delicious seafood!!
