Where is the best places to snorkel at?

I recently went to Cancun and went snorkeling and I loved it. Now I want to go to the Great Barrier Reef in Austrailia but first I need to save up. What are some other great places to snorkel?

Also, I would like to learn to Scuba dive. Does anyone know a cheap place in florida or cancun where I could learn how to scuba and what is the cost and length of the class.

Cape Hatteras North Carolina has over 1800 charted shipwrecks, many are in less than 30 feet of water, just perfect for SCUBA diving many on them are in the shallows where it would be nice to snorkel over them.  And some of them are literally sticking up out of the beach.  While you are there be sure to visit Kitty Hawk and climb to the top of the Hatteras lighthouse.

um in tiede pools if ur a sience geek BUT um if u go there JAMICA is awsome clear warm water but ill worn you if u take a camera there brind a cloth to wipe the lense because it will fog over from the heat badly its not gunna ruin it but it will DEFINITLY for over wipe it of and its good



i am gunna learn to scuba dive but i think the normal cost is like 400 700 to for classes, and CHEAP gear mabye 500 to 1000 but good gear is around like 1000 to like 2500 if u get all pro gear and an air tank and u need an air compresor for that

I would look in the local yellow pages and look for a dive shop that teaches PADI certification office.  They teach the whole course not just how to scuba.  Since you are in Florida you are in the best place.  If you get the money together go to the Caribbean.
