and people will show you the way....

if they ask "Which öreke?" you would like to know in particular

for the view: Camlica hill, you can see whole Istanbul from that hill, and not much tourist know about this hill.

for a historical sightseeing: travel around old city & halic.

for to learn about lifestyle: at first try taksim, beyoglu and around. these places are also very close with old city. you can also go to west coast of bosphorus( european side), like Ortaköy, Bebek, Kuruçeşme, these places have both amazing view and you can have fun at both daytime and night in the clubs.

i think that the best place of this town which have a long history is the biggest Greek  orthodox church st Sophia which now is a museum.. in Istanbul-Constantinople you can find many good places.....
