  1. Check out your local Co-op supermarket!! They're doing packages of 100 and 50 euros....or, look at ;

    www.travelex.co.uk,

    You get a better rate from them if you oreder your currency online, then collect from your nearest Travelex outlet.

  2. Believe it or not it's your local post office. They don't charge you either way so you're always onto a winner. They always have some on hand which is ore than can be said of MOST of your high street banks.

  3. Marks and Spencer are pretty good

  4. The best way is to have a nationwide bank account and use their debit card to get your euros from atm in country of destination. They offer a no fee service and the mid rate for currency exchange. When the £ was getting €1.21 in UK, from at I was getting €1.26 - that is a big difference.

    The best cash deal currently available is with Marks and Spencer

  5. The best rate is definitely getting cash at ATMs with your debit card, even more so if it is a Nationwide Flex account card. You get the tourist rate when you change cash or TCs, the commercial rate using a card. On any day the difference between the 2 is about 6 cents for every £ which really adds up.

    I access all my UK funds this way as I now live in Greece, I can't afford not to!

  6. marks and spencers or the post office but if i was you i wouldnt change to much stirling as you usually get a better rate at your holiday destination.

  7. i got £750 worth at marks and Spencer's yesterday and got 3 £10 vouchers for mens or ladies clothing, not that i would wear anything from there , but they will do someone who is old.
