  1. massenutten in virginia has a good beginner park.

they have two seperate parks, a beginner on and an advanced.

the beginner one has ride on boxes and ride on rails, only about 6 inches off the snow so you can learn.  it also has small kickers and tables to learn how to clear jumps and so you can practice grabs and spins.

the advanced park is very fun too once you master the beginner park.  a ton of jumps, rails, boxes, verts, handrails, spines, ect.   even in the adv. park there are some easy things, but also some very difficult stuff too.  A lot of good people pass through there though, massenutten is knows for their parks.

both parks have ride on lifts, so you don't have to unstrap (if you snowboard)

  2. I think that you need to let people know where you're from before they can answer your question..

i.e. my local hill, Blue Mountain in Ontario has an alright beginner park, but I have no idea if you live anywhere near to Ontario..
