Where is the best spot in the Magic Kingdom to view the fireworks?

An interesting viewpoint is on the beach at the Polynesian hotel.  You can avoid the crowds, hear the accompanying music since it is piped in through speakers, and there is a great view of Cinderella's castle.  Granted, you are further away and thus don't have them exploding directly overhead, but this vantage point allows you to see the whole show unfolding in front of you - you don't miss anything!

the best spot to watch the fireworks in my personal opinion is in front of the castle, or around caseys corner. I have seen them quite a few times now and they never get old, i love them. You can also get a good view from up in front of the disney train station as you are upstairs. Main street is not a great place as it gets too crowded.

In my opinion the best spot is in front of the castle or main street but you'll have to get there early!!

At the beginning of Main Street, up on the train platform is a cool place.  Gets you up above the crowd on the street and since the park closes shortly afterward, you have the option of being right there at the exit to beat the mad rush if you choose to go home at that time.
