Where is the best spot in the world to travel?

I am planning a vacation for sometime in September, and I am having a hard time on deciding where. For me, sky is the limit, anywhere in the world. Where is the best place to go? Anywhere but in North or South America.

I would visit New Zealand.

  On the north island, you have nice cities (Auckland and Wellington, both with great museums and good night life.

You also have great beaches with the associated seaside activities.  You have an area like Yellowstone National Park (rotarua) with all kinds of geothermal activity.

On the south island, you can go whale watching, visit glaciers, climb the southern alps.   The southern tip has fjords, much like Norway that are very scenic.

Both islands have great trails for hiking.  Food is great.

Lots to do and you dont have to travel very far from area to area.
