Where is the best surf spot in or near ventura?

i dont think anyone is going to divulge that, but theres plenty of spots and theyre all different, from real easy to real big depending on swell. For a beginner id go just north of ventura around seaward ave. theres about 5 miles of beachbreak to choose from. but make sure to go early it gets windy by 11

it's on a military base, restricted access

there are other spots almost as good but if I told you I'd have to kick my own @$$. Check out surfline or wannasurf.
