Where is the best vacation place?

The most romantic place to vacation. if u've seen the best romantic place i would like to hear about it.

I've been fortunate enough to have traveeled a little and learned a couple things about my own preferences.

1. I dont like touristy place

2. the beach vacation isnt my preference.

So  I do like places with GREAT food and I like offbeat stuff.

So My top 3 choices are:

1. New orleans...best food in the world, fun, lots to do

2. Charleston N.C .....good food...lots to do...fun

3. Places like Cranbrook, Canada...horse ranches...riding in the rockies...fishing etc.

It's stereotypical but honestly Paris is the most beatiful place. Also, Prague in the Czech Republic is amazing too. And Rome or Venice. Or Santorini inthe Greek Isles. And if you're really going all out, the Four Seasons Maldives.

over and yonder..........ok it depend? what time of year and ur budget.. if if skiing i go over at lake tahoe @ homeland its ok..cheap. i was there last weekend!  on summer i go to pawalan, philippines to scuba dive....really great and cheap! if i have a short holidays i go to vegas.  or if u just wanna stroll a long beach go to waikiki. romantic?? i dont think so! im all fun and adventure. play hard and fast for life is too short!

Cancun, the airfares are down and most of the hotels are all inclusive. There's much to do there or do nothing! Shopping is great in all the malls but they show the same things in all of them. The open air market is fun and bargains can be had if you like to haggle! Also lots of place to scuba, snorkel, sight see. Both the beauty and the historical sites are wonderful and compared to other places in the Carib it's less expensive. The dollar goes a long way. Xcaret has the best area for water fun. Swim with the dolphins, snorkel and go down a lazy river with just a life jacket on. It takes you underground in the ceynotes. It's great fun. I've gone to Cancun at least 20 times now and haven't ever been disappointed. And by the way, you can drink the water. Just watch the salad intake. The cheaper hotels don't import their lettuce so it's grown there and they use real manure which our bodies aren't accustomed to.I would book into a medium priced hotel. They are the best for food and dollar value. Have a great vacation. Enjoy it all!!!

In the middle of a market in Germany. The have the best foods, best fruits and flowers. My husband and I often walked to such markets just to get away. Living in a foreign country (we are in the states now) makes it more romantic.

It is nice just to walk around and feel like the only two people in the world even though hundreds are around. WOW I miss Germany!

Curacao is very romantic. Hy husband and I went last year, and it really was like heaven on earth. Being surrounded by white sand and turquoise blue water is so relaxing, and being in an all inclusive resort where your every whim is taken care of allows you to really focus on being together. The sunsets there are amazing, just like the post cards. Also, the people are very friendly and accomodating. Here's a picture I took:

I reckon somewhere secluded, with less cars, people and a lot more of nature.

A cruise might be nice, if you're into that type of thing.
