  2. Barcelona head up.  Specially at the time of the year you want to go.  Everything to do at any time.

  3. The Costa del Sol in Andalucia (southern spain) is great, especially this one town, called Rota, near Jerez de la Frontera. It's never crowded all year long, and it has everything you could want out of a costal vacation.
