Question:

Where is the best view in Minneapolis' State Theatre?

I plan to go see a show at the State Theatre...while I have lived in Minneapolis before, I haven't been to this theatre. From what I understand, there is a main floor, loge, and balconies. From where would I get the best view of the action on stage?

  1. The State and Orpheum Theaters are wonderful vintage theaters! Of course the main floor is best. Below are the seating charts for you to look at....the INSIDE isle seats are best (rather than the side seats on either side---and quickest to be sold.)

The balcony isn't bad either--again closer to the front AND center. But I've been in the VERY back FAR side in the balcony and it wasn't bad--just bring binoculars!

The State seats 1300 on the main floor, with an additional 850 seats in the balcony/loge area.
