  1. It is usually in the South of France you can check the weather across France here http://www.a-taste-of-france.com/weather...

  2. Hi,

    I'm french.

I think the best weather is in South (near Marseille, Nice), or in Corsica (Island at the South of France).

  3. Go to Nice!, or anywhere by the Mediterranean. Inland is too hot in summer (38°C-40°C in July/August in Grenoble for instance), winters can be rather cold (at least colder than in the UK, around -10°C / 0°C in the cities of the Alps.

In Nice, the weather doesn't change so much throughout the year. The colder you can get is 10°C in winter, up to 30°C in the summer (and the heat is compensated by the wind from the sea, which we don't ahve in the Alps). On top of that, it seldom rains in Nice... it's like the sky is always blue!!

Avoid big urban centers (Marseille...) as the pollution will make it difficult to bear the heat in summertime!

  4. definitely in the south and the French island called Corse.

  5. Hi

If you are looking for dry / warm weather all year around, the best place would indeed be Corsica, but that is not mainland France!

In terms of mainland, I would suggest the South, Nice or Marseille or Aix-en-Provence - it is hot and dry there in the summer, and milder in the winter.

However, the wind called the Mistral is worth considering, it is called the Widow maker because of its relentless cold driving wind and blows in.

Check out the links on the bbc weather site attached, it lets you see charts/ details for various regions.

  6. You can check out annual sunshine hours and other French weather statistics here :

  7. the languedoc roussillon area - beziers, carcassonne, gruissan, agde. coast or inland beautiful!

  8. Hi there,

The south of France is not too bad, it is along the year the best place to be during summer time as well as winter time...

Now we can expand to other places such as

New Caledonia and French polynesia, which have even better weather... but well

    Good luck
