  1. the cashpoint machine

  2. try bayswater are , there are lots of small chinese resterants there.

if you want athentic, go to new world in china town

  3. Joy King Lau is the best in Chinatown, otherwise Royal China in Queensway is pretty good.

  4. There are three candidates for the best dim sum in london (I assume this is what you mean; yum cha strictly is Cantonese for "eating small dishes with tea" - I think in practice the two terms are fairly synonymous these days?).  These are:

    Yauatcha in Soho

    Hakkasan near Tottenham Court Road

    Royal China in Queensway

I woul say that Yauatcha is your best bet; it is a sister restaurant to Hakkasan and does essentially the same dim sum dishes (they are no better or worse than each other, in my experience).  However Hakkasan is smarter and costlier (and perhaps better in the evening), and Yauatcha is unusual in that it does dim sum in the evening as well as lunch.  It is easy to eat for £25 a head there.  Yauatcha also has a ground floor dedicated as a tea bar, and has a very extensive tea menu, which is very much in the yum cha tradition.  Baked venison puff, almond prawns and har gau are some of my favourite dishes there.

Royal China's dim sum is not quite as good as the other two but you will certainly get the buzzy feel of a Chinese community eating there, as you get in Hong Kong or Shanghai.  Prawn and chive dumplings and gai lan with garlic are especially good here. At weekend lunch times, long lines form outside Royal China, so get there early to avoid a wait.

There are plenty of other choices in London but you asked for the very best.
