Where is the bus stop in Savanna Georgia that forest gump waits?

There wasn't one. It was created for the movie. The bench is actually in a museum on MLK. The square they used for the scene is actually Chippewa Square in the historic district.

How ever there are some bus stops just off of the square and some of the tourist wagons (trollies, busses, ect) do stop at the square espeically the movie tour bus
