Where is the car resonator located?

i have a 2003 pontiac sunfire and i know where the resonator is, but it looks like there is a larger pipe, something in between, then the same larger pipe again. like this kinda ===--=== is the whole thing the resonator or is part of it something else?

between the cat and the muffler.

usually resonators are located at the rear of car after muffler
