  1. About 4,000 miles under your feet, straight down.

  2. The core. It is four layers beneath the layer we live on, the crust.

  3. About 6400km beneath you

  4. The Earths centre is smack bang in the centre of the Inner Core, one of the 4 layers of the earth. The centre of the earth is about 3976 miles (6400km) beneath you as you read, and is so compacted that it is pretty much a solid. Surrounding the Inner Core is the Outer Core (go figure), and encasing the Outer Core is the largest layer of molten called the Mantle. The thin layer which we are on presently is the crust, which is only a few miles thick. Lava is formed when the molten from the Mantle seeps through the crust. So below the crust is a massive pool of lava!

  5. In the middle

  6. That is not possible to determine.

The geometric center can't be determined because the Earth is not a perfect sphere and its shape and surface vary constantly.

The center of mass cannot be determine because, a) it would be nearly impossible to determine the arrangement of various mass "units" throughout the globe to calculate the center and b) the earth is shifting and its molten core has varied density which is in motion.

If you go to the equator the standard average radius of the Earth is defined as 3960 miles.

  7. It is still there.

  8. 6,128 kilometers below your feet.

  9. The core. It's the hottest place of the Earth and is the center.

  10. core is the center/middle

  11. 6400km straight down directly below your feet.

  12. in the center(middle)

  13. At the very centre of the planet - the exact middle.

Basically down about 6300 km (depending on where you are on the surface).
